House on Wildfire Ln.

The Visuals:

The Business:

Vacation home rental.

The Ask:

  1. Branding (logo and brand colors)
Represents the feel of the home and attracted a feminine-focused crowd for coveted “girls weekend” trips. Branding would be uniquely its own but needed to bode well with the aesthetic of the city (Waco, TX).

  2. Welcome Packet
Showcases local attractions and smart-home automations for guests checking in.

The Process:

  1. Determine and agree on aesthetics for the home and city.
The home featured stately, European-influenced items like a grandmother clock, bird portraits, and vintage teacups. The city of Waco exudes a clean and modern farmhouse vibe.
We weaved the two designs together to get a British tea ceremony meets a relaxed farmhouse aesthetic.

  2. Gather inspiration photos.
Photos gathered included pink flowers, watercolor bird prints, vintage items, and a farmhouse-style garden shed.

  3. Create branded colors.
Four statement colors and three neutral colors were created.

  4. Create logo.
We knew we wanted the logo to exude a friendly, artisan vibe. Think of a modern and relaxed take on estate illustration.

  5. Create the Welcome Packet.
Once branding was decided on, the Welcome Packet started to take shape. A warm, linen-like texture was applied to all pages and the logo was used as a page placemarker on each page.
